What becomes when “Ganja Mann” pushes forward

It did not end as a dream for Le’Andre Oden Jr., now well-known as Ganja Mann, when he found his passion in music. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, he moved to Birmingham, Alabama to work all the way to achieve his much-desired goal. Indeed, he got several jobs while pursuing his rap dreams. At 27, he quit all of it and put his heart and soul solely on music.

Hard work paid off and Ganja Mann was able to venture into business. He presently owns T3 Studios located in Birmingham, Alabama, R&O Express LLC which is a trucking company, and TrapBabyzent LLC which is a record label and clothing line.

How it started

As kids, his single mother, Tracey Bullard used to drive them around and play music to put them to sleep. That was how he first loved music and that puppy love grew out stronger when he reached 19. At 24, he started his music career. As a young man of the ordinary profile, it could not be any harder to continue such a dream, unless he makes a great effort. 

Ganja Mann’s inspiration for all his hard work was rooted in Bob Marley and James Brown, who he also believed to be the most hard-working people in the industry. That was how he managed to release “Bally Bag”, “Yeah Yeah Yeah”, “Moving Fast” and other songs that this generation could play on Spotify and YouTube.

How it is going

Known for his trendsetting previous releases “Head to Toe” Ft. Casino, “Belly Bag” Ft. Young Dolph, “Yeah Yeah” Ft. Pop Lord & “Move It Fast” Ft. Pap Chanel, Ganja Mann landed a great deal with Universal Music Group, the world’s leading music company. These songs had already brought him to 14 different cities.

“Hustle music.” 

That was how he described it, a sound that could hype you up. His music has given happiness to people who are now his fans, whom he took much consideration for being a ‘people first’ kind of person. 

After releasing his single called “twenty three” which is inspired by Space Jam and NBA jam, Ganja Mann is about to drop another hit called “Shiiiiii” which is believed to be a bomb. He has collaborated with Estabrook Road Records (ER The Label) for this new release and he is certainly making a name in the Hip-Hop world out of it. Unlike other catchy songs, just hearing it once will already hit the listener’s head and leave them an earworm.

How he did it

Aside from giving happiness from his music to his fans, he also wanted to give an image that can inspire them, especially in this industry.

“I want them to look at me as a legend at the end and I want them to know the Ganja Mann on the way.”

The most valuable thing he wanted them to learn from him is to continue regardless of where you came from and how you were doing at the beginning. Keep your pace while working hard, then you will reap the fruits of your labor.
