Changing the World one Epic Production at a Time: Diane Foster is out on a Mission to change our Vision

The film industry is about to witness a revelation of talent and passion for the multimedia arts as Diane Foster enters the scene with WallyBird Productions. On her own, she is an actor, director, producer, entrepreneur, and single mother of two teenagers, but in 2018 she took a huge leap and launched her very own production company, WallyBird Productions. This power move has cemented her place in the industry as a brand that was built out of genuine passion and love for the arts. 

WallyBird Productions, under the leadership of Diane Foster has a collection of stellar creations to its name. Some of these include pieces that have been viewed all over the continent such as the short film “Make a Wish”, the documentary “I am America” which was awarded a 15k grant to be used in service to the Immigration Center for Women and Children for underprivileged & undocumented youth with the Women Excel Project, and the film “SHiRi” which won the coveted top spot at Stage 32 Short Film Contest at Hollyshorts Film Festival & Raindance in the United Kingdom. 

A Company Shaped by Passion

Diane, through her company WallyBird Productions, is using her skills to create an array of multimedia materials on a worldwide scale throughout various platforms, with creations that foster core values such as diversity and equality. These include: as a sponsor for the “Building Black Leaders Scholarship” for JUNO’s Guitar Bootcamp that gives out free guitar lessons and music education to the Black community and the film “Dissonance” which had a portion of its fundraising profits donated to “The Trevor Project”, an organization that provides aid to LGBTQ+ youth who are in need of intervention in an effort to reinforce suicide prevention. These projects are not only informative and entertaining but also further strengthen the spirit Diane has for providing conscious projects with love and a safe space for everyone to bring their talent to the table. 

The company is bound to soar and keep bringing more creations that are oozing with passion, Diane tells us:

“We currently have two feature films in post-production that includes a featurette of behind the scenes, a documentary in post, a documentary and tv series currently filming, a movie musical in development, a film ready to be released at big film festivals, and a few more projects we have just signed on as either, Director, Producer,  and Production Company.“

The Brains Behind it All

The person behind WallyBird Productions is a powerhouse of a woman, Diane Foster. She is an actor who has loved the art of acting since childhood. At 18, she received the “Best Actress Rising Star Award” from Papermill Playhouse, moved to LA at the age of 21 to focus on film, and has flourished in the industry ever since.

As founder of WallyBird Productions, Diane has a policy of approaching people with positive energy, good vibes, and a commitment to the change that they wish to see in the world. She shares: 

“If we aren’t actively changing the narrative of what we see in the film and tv space, then we aren’t doing our job as creatives. “

Diane is using her talent to change the world through the film industry and wants the public to see that through the lens of each story she tells. With the help of her company, WallyBird Productions, she is changing the world, one epic film at a time.
